The period of the political transformation has aroused great interest in the press, including women’s press. The editorial staff of “Kobieta i Życie” [„The Woman and Life”] counted on activating women in the political sphere. The press commented on political changes, diagnosed reality and forecasted trends. The starting point of the consideration was that the women were underrepresented during the Round Table Talks. Attention was paid to the ironic approach to women’s movements in Poland.
